Early Intervention Service Coordinator

Your Service Coordinator coordinates all services for your child and serves as your person of contact when you are seeking to obtain necessary services and assistance from Part C providers. Part C is the part of the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) that focuses on children from birth to age 3, so Part C providers are those that can serve your child from their birth to when they are 3 years old. The service coordinator is also required to assist you in identifying and locating available services and service providers, and to inform you of the availability of advocacy services. Beginnings SC will also make referrals to BabyNet, South Carolina’s agency responsible for matching the needs of children ages 0-3 with the appropriate services.
