Interpreter

This piece of your puzzle provides communication support services and language enhancement/enrichment to your child in a mainstreamed school setting. The primary responsibility of an interpreter is to facilitate communication between your child and their hearing peers, the classroom teacher, and other school personnel.  Most of the time an interpreter is not used for young children because they have not developed the skills to use an interpreter to learn new information.
